Alpha Plus have been busy, they have overhauled a TP52 – formerly ‘Beau Geste’, now re-named ‘Panthera’ and she will raced throughout the summer based from here, Medina Yard. They are currently renovating a ‘Corel45’ and two 1/4 tonners, as well as the ongoing maintenance for ‘Renaissance’ and ‘Panthera’.
Composite Craft continue to impress with their quality work and high standards, they have nearly finished making three complete bare carbon International 14 hulls, as well as making another Flying Fifteen. Soon they will be starting the construction of a composite Swallow.
South boats have just launched a 14m Aluminium Catamaran for the wind farm industry and they have three South Cats in build here as well as RNLI maintenance contracts to Tyne and Mersea class lifeboats.
