Here in the Medina Yard through our association with South Boats and the RNLI we have the capacity to lift and store a Severn Class lifeboat, this particular boat is a ‘spare’ that is ready to cover for any of the Severns that may become disabled in any way. On Friday 25th we had the opportunity to demonstrate how efficient we could be by getting the lifeboat launched at very short notice so that it could be driven down to Penlee in Cornwall it was collected by the Penlee crew on the saturday morning.
