The Medina yard team are an experienced group of professionals, providing a friendly and reliable service. The team has recently designed a new boat mover, which will be manufactured locally and will enable the more efficient movement and storage of boats. They are:

Charlie, Has been with the yard for many years and has seen it change and evolve, we are delighted that he continues to enjoy being in the yard and a member of the Medina Yard Team because we really value his knowledge, common sense and experience.

Craig Nutter
Medina Yard Manager

A professional Sailor with experience of both Whitbread Round the World and Americas Cup campaigns, Craig has now turned his attention to his shore side career, applying the same professionalism and attention to detail necessary for professional sailing, to the running of the Medina Yard.

Rhyddian Williams
Medina Yard ‘Boat movement facilitator’

After twenty years as a professional yacht captain Welsh-born Rhyddian moved to Cowes to start a temporary job at Cowes Yacht Haven. Eleven years later he decided it was time to move on and came to work for the Medina Yard. Describing himself as “Lightning Nipper”, Rhyddian spends most of his time on the hoist and is extremely energized about the future of the yard.

Alex Bingham-Wallis

Alex has been with us for two winters! and has evolved into a valuable member of the team. His personable manner and efficient work ethic has made him a very useful, he has also accepted the role of the on site handling of accounts as well as being a qualified hoist operator, fork lift operator and all round yard hand.

Tom Philpott
Medina ‘Yard-hand’

Tom is back! and thankfully has re-joined the team. He escaped from the Isle of Wight for some great adventures and Diving in Australasia and some wordly experience. He truly epitomizes what ‘we’ are all about, hard working, tidy and prepared to go that extra mile in terms of service and attitude. We are very grateful that he has come back to work with us again.
